Campbell Hill Picnic Cruise-In

First State Bank of Campbell Hill sponsored the first Campbell Hill Picnic cruise in on Saturday July 25 from 12:00 – 4:30. A total of 50 cars, trucks, motorcycles, and even a tractor showed up to the event. Each participant received a dash plaque upon registration.

The winners of the Five Picnic Choice Awards were:

  • American Legion’s Choice
    • Doug Palmquist of Carbondale, 1961 Chevy Impala
  • Fire Chief’s Choice
    • Clay & Heather Young of Steeleville, 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu
  • Bankers Choice
    • Dwayne Dagner of Ava, 1964 Chevy Chevelle
  • American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Choice
    • Fred & Brenda Frederking of Coulterville, 1959 Ford Galaxy 500
  • Community Choice
    • Dwayne Dagner of Ava , 1964 Chevy Chevelle

Attendance prizes were given away during the event, a 50/50 raffle was held, along with food and drinks available for purchase. All proceeds from the event went to Campbell Hill American Legion Post #1096 & Campbell Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
